Its a 6 -pot 325is. I have run it with the cap of the expansion tank, Tried it with stat in and out to eliminate the stat as a problem and still to no avail. I wouldnt run it on the road with the stat out......... Im tempted to lift the head off and have it pressure checked. Cant think what else wou...

Changed cam belt, water pump and the tensioner, bolted it all back together and now she will not bleed the coolant up. Bleeding up 325is

Right i have changed the cambelt and given her a plugs,cap and arm change and can i fook get it to bleed the coolant.....

Are they a biatch to bleed?

Any commen problems people have found?

Crowthorne is quite nice m8. Crown wood was nice when we moved there in 84' but then got worse with all the young scrotes...

Im gona need some big brakes tho as im not too sure that std euipment will last on track for too long.....

I will be buying the calipers seperate and then having brackets made to custom fit, I was woundering, do any other bmws run 4 pots as this would be alot easier to fit a salvage yard and source and service the parts that way.

Hoses and stuff like that is easy to come buy.

Exactly my point, I know a few of my mates who have decent powered (300bhp+) cossies who are planning on more work and still run std brakes 8O A decent brake upgrade and weight loss is as good as a bhp upgrade.... Who runs 4 pots or bigger brakes on the BB, as i just want some feedback on the kits.....

Simon, thanks for that, i think brakes are my first priority a decent set of fronts and then look in to sorting the rears. Where abouts in Bracknell are ya, obvioulsy dont give the address but the area, as i used to live there. I used to live in Nettlecombe in Crown Wood. How long you lived there????

Write up is good, sounds like a well done conversion, that is definatly a job i will be looking in to. Anything over the e30 50 turns lock to lock will be an improvement.

I have just rang Adrian flux and got a quote of Ԛ£580 with all the roadside crap and Ԛ£250 xs.

Gona give the ones above a defo go as im not at work today....Need to get it back on the road as its track season soon.

Just about to get mine MOT'd and Insured and was woundering who everyone else uses and what sort of deals they get?

Im 24, 4 yrs protected NCB, No claims, and the Bmw is a 325is in std form.

Bracknell was an ok place till the fecking boom, now its full to busting point, cut my teeth at the ice rink and went to blackbush plenty of times.....lol:)

Have alot of m8s in Bracknell still and sometime find myself visiting...good place if a lil crowded

We will soon take over the world, Cockney uprising! Starting to feel welcome here already.... i was one of first people on Passionford and there from the start.....always been good there but as the ford has gone and a new start is here with the 325is im needing new stimulation...oi leave it!!!!! 8)
