Re:

How can you put Porsche wheels on a BMW?

Very odd.

I think some 17in Alpina copies would suit it far more than wheels off another make  .

Machine shop in SE London?

Can anyone recommend a machine shop in South London.

I need to get the centre bore of some alloys opened up by a couple of mm.

I'm based in Crystal Palace, but am prepared to travel a bit to somewhere decent or cheap.

It looks superb mate.

TBH I have not seen a single nova arched e30 with a flush fitting boot, so must be a commopn problem.

I like the 5 door golf and metro, but to be honest why ruin a perfect e30 by sticking nova arches on it? :?:

That looks about right, mine sits fine at the rear but the front is far far too high.

I think tourings came with the equivalent of mtech shocks (may be wrong) so that will work out aswell.

Will see if I can get hold of some cheap -35 or 40mm springs and see if it lowers it enough.

Lowered on standard shocks?

Is there a maximum the car can be lowered on standard shocks?

Want to get some lowered springs for the front of my 320 touring, and unsure if there is a limit.

I would like either -35 or -60mm, would this be a problem on the standard shocks?

Running standard 15in BBS.

Sorry, wasn't very clear.

This is when I give the engine a once over before using it, so from cold.

Could an air in the system cause these symptoms?

Changing coolant levels?

Quick question

Why would the coolant level on my 320 rise and fall.

Whenever I check the coolant level it is different, one day it will be on the line, the next 1/2 - 1cm above another it will be 1/2cm below.

Does not overheat, no mayo and no other problems.

Personally I'd advise you to try both.

I went from a mk2 16v golf to a 320 touring, and have not found it much of a problem. Yes it is slower, but still alright to drive.

Ignore the cock waving about engine size and see what cars you prefer yourself.

Identify a coolant pipe

Need to identify this pipe on my 320, it came off the other week and dumped all the coolant. It has not been overheating, and I think had been leaking very slightly for some time. I'm going to initially just re-attach it, but need to know the part number or description to get a replacement in the ne...

I quite like them, although didn't realise they were popular on saxos.

Always thought they looked good on mk2 golfs with the euro look, and as I need a new rear box on mine thought I see if they are available.

Service indicator lights?

I bought the car a month ago, all the green lights were on. In the space of the last week it has dropped down to 3 green lights lit, and yesterday the clock and inspection light came on. Is it normal for the inspection light to be on as well as three green lights? or is it just a reflection of the c...
