Re: E34 525tds starting problem
I have a E36 325Td and had the same problem you could see the bubbles in the fuel line on mine to. It turned out to be the fuel return hose on no1 injector had a small hole in it that allowed air to be drawn in when the engine was turned off , therefore making it a pig to restart . Replaced the hose...

I've had a knocking noise on the n/s/r of my M3 for a while now which has also developed a cracking type noise to go with it . Thats bad for a dealership , had a similar thing in a bodyshop the fella grabed hold of the underside of the rear arch and announced "I thought they would of been fibreglass"Falkster wrote:Oh dear!!! Thats not quite as bad as a young mechanic in the BMW dealership asking me if my M3 was a 325 with a bodykit.

Had to smile
Pulled in at my local Shell garage the other day to treat the M3 to some V Power fuel !
On paying the young guy says "Thats an E30 isn't it ?"
Impressed by his knowledge i simply replied "yes it is"
He then went on to spoil it all by saying "Shame its LHD though"

Not at present, can get one tomorrow. The normal sport seat bracket didn't look the right shape when i had a quick look ages ago. No they are not the same , but it doesn't take to much fabricating to make a new bracket to attach the fire ext holder to. You can see the ally bracket in the close up p...

I had one up for sale with RegTransfers , They don't actually buy it off you , unless it is something really desirable. They give you a price they think its worth, then bung their wedge on and advertise it ! They never managed to sell mine so i never found out the final part I think you'll find once...

They are a great car to drive on country roads or long journeys continually putting a smile on your face , but they can be a pain in traffic and around town !
But saying that, thats not what they were built for
