unplug the maf and see if it runs ok. if not crank pick up.

Bad crank pickup is when car has been running to temp and feels like no fuel when you put your foot down and stalls? I belive they dont bring up a code, mine didnt!!!

also a wrong round ICV can do that.

easy fix fuse has blown or your wires are earthing to the body to blow the fuse. it will blow once you put it in reverse and kills the dash rev and fuel, MPG IRC. but the red light will still come if empty.

The new Turbos have a rpm of 7k so them bolts must be ok or BMW wouldnt use them again on a new spec M blocks
