Was out in Wales a week or so ago with some friends and shot some pics. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k276/matthew_h/Llyn%20Brenig%20March%2007/IMG_9346resized.jpg http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k276/matthew_h/Llyn%20Brenig%20March%2007/IMG_9285resized.jpg Unfortunately, the Cossie had had to...
Some kind person has nicked my M3's grill badge breaking the grill in the process.  Very pleasant of them. Just looked up on C3 for prices of the grill and badge and there seems to be a few differing options for the grill. The standard E30 headlight grill is listed separately to the ...
Anyone got any experience of this? I spent yesterday scooting round Oulton Park in my M3 and had a great day but it was slightly tarnished by brake problems. The pedal was going very long but this is just down to fluid. More disconcerting and annoying though was the amount of judder I was getting un...
On a motorway run with some normal dring about at each end, my M3 (with a Milltek and a Conforti chip) will average about 31-32mpg. I have had 40+ just on the motorway but that was like I was driving Miss Daisy about. Around town on my work commute I get about 20ish mpg On track at Oulton Park yeste...
No worries. As I said, I have a real soft spot for white ones and I reckon that all things being equal I would have had a white one over any of the others
Don't worry about the badges, Maxfield is only saying that because he got a lot of stick when he showed photos of his Dad's M3 with the rear badge in the wrong place.
Couple more shots of my M3 for you: http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k276/matthew_h/CoolBlueM3800x600.jpg and http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k276/matthew_h/SunsetM3800x600.jpg Due to a problem with my usual host, these shots are only available in 800x600 but if anyone wants them in higher res th...
So it is a pain in the arse then? Why is it so tricky? Just a pain getting the gearbox off or something else? I only have a Haynes manual for the normal E30s atm. Will this be sufficient for me to figure out doing the M3 or do I need further info? Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to work out...
Cheers chaps for the advice. Just looked up the clutch on ECP and GSF. ECP list a Sachs/LUK clutch kit at £162 (which I assume is without VAT) and GSF list a clutch kit at £142. Will the GSF one be Sachs too? Does anyone know how difficult changing the clutch is? I have the impression that it is...
The clutch on my M3 has started behaving a little oddly. When engaging or disengaging the clutch there is a significant amount of judder and vibration through the pedal. It still seems to work and isn't slipping (unless I do emergency starts in the dry but it has been like that for a while) but the ...
The crux of the thing is that his policy does not cover him for mechanical failures and the split fuel pipe was classed (rightly so) as a mechanical failure thus making his claim void. The stuff about racing and the NOS are not related the claim being thrown out as far as I can tell. Still a mighty ...
I'm currently fitting some new seats in my M3 and bizarrely have ended up with a very similar method to that shown above. Ollie's is a lot neater than mine though with all that fancy welding but hopefully mine should work just as well. I'm mounting some Recaro Speed seats on runners though which is ...
Got a bit of an annoying problem with the indicator/headlight dip stalk on my car. When the lights are on and I indicate right the stalk switches main beam on dazzling on-coming drivers and generally being a pain. Anybody know what I can do about this? Is it a case of replacing the switch or is ther...
Re: Ferrybridge - I'm not sure whether Sunday will be possible, depends if I can get my new seats in on Saturday or not but send me some details and I'll see what I can do.
Thanks guys, glad you like it. Photography is a bit of a hobby of mine so people liking my stuff is good. The shot was taken using a DSLR mounted to the car using a double suction mount thingy and a long shutter speed to create the blur. Mr Gates, just for you (and anyone else that wants it) here is...
