Re: LSD FOR MY 325I e30, advice on ratio
Another thing, i fitted the diff 3.91 diff lastweek. Definitely better in my opinion than the 3.64.When on the highway in 5th i am now lying at 3300rpm as opposed to 2950rpm with the 3.64,so it isn't too ridiculous. My motor is stock as well

Re: LSD FOR MY 325I e30, advice on ratio
Hi Anton, 40.11 is a normal 3.64diff. I've recently acquired a 3.91 and it says 43.11 on the tag (43/11=3.91) or thereabouts..40/11=3.64 Hope that helps

Car wash down in S.Africa! 325i x 2
Here's a couple of pics of my car (silver) and my buddies car. I think his rims look awesome, they'r from an X3. He had the centres sprayed with the lip polished. Lemme know what you think. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y96/fannyj/DSC00396.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y96/fannyj/DSC00388....

Rear end Clunk (driving me nuts!)
Hi Guys, Ever since i lowered my car with H&R Sports, i've been getting this rear end clunking.. it usually happens when going over speed humps, or during some spirited driving. What i also noticed is that when driving with a load, the rear end clunks when turning, pot holes, speed humps, even going...

e30 325i with 3.91 diff
Hi Guys I have a 3.91 diff in the garage and have been contemplating fitting it this weekend. My car is stock standard and drive about 100km to work and back. Would this diff cause the revs to run ridiculously high while cruising on the highway? Currently at about 120kph in 5th, i'm doing round 3000...

Increasing fuel pressure
Hi guys
I've read somewhere a while back that you can increase the pressure by denting your stock regulator, this causes more tension on the spring inside increasing fuel pressure.
Can anyone confirm this ?

Electrical issue (windows/mirrors)
Hi Guys, My bro drives a '91 model 325i, recently it started giving some electrical issues. When i put on the ignition i noticed the brake pad sensor light on the cluster, and it seems that as soon as this happens the windows/fan/mirrors do not work at all, there is still power to the cd-player thou...

A/C noisy
Hi E30'ers! So i start my car up this morning and hear this humming sort of noise coming from my engine bay. I left the car running and had a look, it seems as if it's the A/C unit (compressor i think). As soon as i put the A/C on, the noise went away, when i switch it off, the noise it back. Could ...

Oil leak...??
Hi Guys, So this evening i decide to clean up my engine bay a little, while cleaning i noticed some oil on the skid plate, it looked very fresh. I looks like it could be coming from the oil filter region, but i can't be sure. I jacked the car up, but couldn't see anything. Are there any seals etc th...

Re: A/C removal
I have recently started dragging my car against a few modded 325i's, my car is stock, while the others are fully worked (cams, exhausts, chip etc). Distance wise i'm about 2 cars behind top 3rd (not bad i reckon). I'm sure i could level out if i lose extra weight etc, without even touching the engine...
