Ant. Re are chat today, I shuved the exhaust prd up it's ass and the reading's are as follow's Vac pipe removed from fuel reg. The engine note changed a lot more than I rember. and rose up to 1200 rpm. Exhaust gas are as folow's Co level 2.39 % vol HC level 3635 ppm CO2 level 10.78 % vol O2 level 3....

It's a l-jet system, so it's onley got the pic up for the diagnostic crank senser. But Motronic is on the card's as seen as I get the bit's
The 2 tun odd Range Rover classic v8 is doing better on fuel than this 2.3 LOL I'll be lucky to get 200 mile's out of a full tan

http://www.catcams.co.uk/acatalog/info_5.html I should be a fast road cam, just up from the std cam. The head has been re-built with new folowers and new cat cam. It's running like a pig when cold and missfiering, then better when worm. the HC's are 4000 odd max for MOT is 1200 last year was around ...

Hi all, :) I'm looking in to converting my 2.3 l-jet to motroninc, I'm going to have a look at a 89-90 2.0 LHD e30, am I going to be able to swop over all the bit's over that is need for the RHD 2.3 or am I wastng my time and need to get a RHD motronic system?? and then geting it cheied Thanks Mark :)

I have the same problom with my one, It's started to afect the clutch a little as well
but not very offen
gear box out and fly wheel for that I thimk. I'm changing the engien for a 2.3 I have.
It's alway's had a oil leak but lot's wors since doing track day's LOL

Can the steering cloumn seze up at all? :? I converted my non PAS over to pas system, all was good and rack all look's tro be very good, I fitted a new lower UJ the other was good and new rubber spacer joing bush and fixed up, But now somthing is not right, it work's ok in the morning getting tighte...

what about fitting just the 325 fuel injector's to a 323 inlet manafold? as the plug's are the same.

best way to remove engine.
I need to replace the b20 as it's pizzin out oil. It's a old l-jet and I have a 2.3 to save on time and penny's. can the gear box come out still on the engien or do thay need to be separtated.

I enjoy driving my e23 735 every day, It's not crap to drive, and not all that bad on fuel as well, went to chester and back from sussex the other week and got 25 mpg all the way up, and 600 mile's over the 3 day's I was up there and back not all that much less for a heavy old car. not much for a ne...

I was at a track day in thee old 320 4 door with all it gubing's and I pased a PBMW race 318i and a 318is like thay were standing still. And I'm in a 320 FFS :o Come on name and shame the PBMW car, I can use it as ammo at our end of year awards :) winkeye now that woul'nt be very nice, :twisted:

Probaley shaged engine's LOL as I was very suprised of how easey it was 8O I don't think it make's all that much diffrence through the corners TBO it's a track car not a race car, and it go's on the driver too. m42 would be better through the twists but not all that IMO as it will be fare to close. ...
