If i want to bring it back to how it should look i reckon it will need to new front arches, sills and 2 new rear arches. Will be too much work i think to sort it and too much...

Righto, only thing is though im trying not to spend much on it at all, the car isnt worth much anymore (1984 on 168000 miles) so if it works out to be pretty pricy, might have to say goodbye to a nice looking e30 :-(

What sort of price do you reckon for welding plates on there and such like?

idle problems

Hi there,

Ive got a 316 1984 (m10) and since yesterday it has been idling high and has been hunting. Ive checked all the vacuum pipes on the carb and they all seem to be ok.

Any ideas as to what might be wrong???

Cheers

Exactly the same happened with me. They added Ԛ£110 for the renewal and when my father phoned up they couldnt explain why and they couldnt do it for any cheaper. We did an internet quote and it was cheaper but they wouldnt allow us to have this price because we are not having a new policy or so...

Mine is also alpine white and i went for clear fronts and sides and it looks very good....would definitely get clear fronts as it made quite a bit of difference to the front of my car.
