Re: Ignition switched 12V in the boot?

I've decided I'll take a wire through to the dash as it's easy enough to do, thanks for the comments.

Ignition switched 12V in the boot?

What's the best way to get an ignition switched 12V into the boot of an E30 M3?

I don't think any of the lighting circuits will be switched, but is the heated rear screen?

I only need it to trigger a relay so very low current requirement.

Thanks.

S14 will tickover but not rev - did have Rongineer setup

Hello, I previously had the Rongineer and Unichip Q setpup on my '88 Evo II but I had an issue with it massively overfuelling and hesitating and so decided to go back to standard. I have now put it all back to standard and the car will start and run but won't rev at all, as soon as I tough the throt...

Silverstone Classic 2013

Following the huge success of the 2012 Silverstone Classic and Z Fest the BMW Car Club is once again attending the event in July this year (26th to the 28th). Last year we held the "Z" fest, this year we are extending it to cover both Z's and also now MPower cars, but this does not mean that you can...

Re: Which is the 'best' BMW owners club?

There are many other benefits too, like the magazine, there are some example issues here: http://issuu.com/bmwccgb, the forum isn't as active because everyone uses the specialist forums like ours but that doesn't detract from it as a club.

Re: M-Technic stickers

I have now bought petrol cap, Evo II spoiler, colour, shock warning, door slam and a couple of others from Atul at Pukar and they are all top quality, you cannot tell that they are not original!

Very pleased with the results, keep up the good work Atul!

This is a bit cheeky but could I ask anyone and everyone out there to vote for my car on the Vertar web site? I'm coming a close second to a subaru Impreza at the minute and the pride of all E30 owners is at stake! You will get a £5 voucher to spend with Vertar in exchange for your email address. Th...

Evo II white plenum/cam cover refinishing

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get the white cam cover and plenum chamber refinished on my '88 Evo II?

I am sure I read about a company that can do this but cannot remember where.

Cheers,
Darren.

Just to ley you know that I finally managed to get the cluster out over the weekend (it didn't take long, I just hadn't had the time!).

And many thanks to Tylerma, it was indeed a loose nut on the back of the guage!

The cheapest fix I have ever done!

Thanks again.

water temp guage 'bouncing'

Hi, My water temperature guage starts to 'bounce' after a period of operation (usually at least 20 minutes) but always returns to normal (about midway on the guage) after a few bounces. I was wondering if this has been seen before and if there is an easy fix (i.e. the sender and not the guage!) Than...

Help with fitting a Philips BMW Business RDS radio

Hi,
I have just bought a Philips BMW Business RDS radio/cassette for my 1992 325iC, I don't have a wiring diagram for the radio so am struggling to work out which pin does what!

Does anyone have or know where to find a wiring diagram/pin out for the Philips radio?

Cheers,
Darren.

Thanks for the reply, just regular road use, I am just aware that there are sometimes tyres that just work better on certain cars.

Most of them seem to be around the same price so it seems best to get a few opinions before diving in.
