Re: m10 krakatoa

Thanks for the link Kam.

Very nice looking car you got there. Just about my dream 323i as well! :)

I do have last month's BMW car magazine. Didn't realise it was that one.

You still thinking of selling? I am not sure I could do it....

Re: m10 krakatoa

That is an interesting colour for an E21 Kam.

I don't suppose you would care to share some details of your 323 with perhaps a pic or two?

I am a huge fan of E21's and I miss my 323i terribly :(

Re:

V6's don't seem to be much different in price from the others. Although you are probably looking at around £1500 upwards for a decent one. The V6 is actually more reliable than the Tsparks. May have something to do with the fact that it is a 40 year old engine design, so they have worked out the k...

Re:

Why change a habit of a lifetime? In over 20,000 post on 156 I don't think you have ever helped anyone :D

Anyway, enough spamming on this forum for now.

Will see you over on 156 no doubt :)

Have fun

Re:

Funnily enough, Tony had a 2.5 v6 and I had a 2.5 v6 with a supercharger.

Would love a GTA, but they are not cheap enough yet. Give it a year or two and they will be a proper bargain.

Re:

Well, at least you can see that yours is still around and doing well. I sent mine to that big scrapyard in the sky  Even drove there fine, but there was simply too much rust for it to be worth saving. Should have taken some bit off as it was running great, even with 198,000 miles on it! If I ha...

Re:

Glad you liked them Kidsinister :) I do have some other really cool pics, but I fear they may be on my currently non functional laptop. Will see if I can dig them out. As for the brakes, yes there are options for upgrading, although the current most popular method involves 4 pot Volvo calipers! To b...

Re:

I think the red one has the BBS front spoiler. Rust is obviously the biggest problem, but parts supply is surprisingly good. Don't think there is any body panel you can't buy. Mechanically they are quite good. The biggest problem is the intake side of things. The 323 has a reasonable mechanical fuel...

Let me see if I can clarify my esteemed collegues statement. Am I right in assuming that the black round cylinder to the left of the throttle body (when standing on the passenger side) is the ICV? If so, then the lead that is attached to the end of the cylinder is not connected to anything, it is ju...
