325 seems a little unpowered?!

Well the donor car I removed my 2.5 engine from went like stink!

Now its fitted to my 318 it doesnt seem as reponsive, done a full service on it,

Seems like theres bugger all power under 4k, as soon as it hits 4k it will fly along.

Is this just the nature of the engine? or is something up?

Cheers

Still a fair bit to change to the front bumper yet tho, Cutting out the middle and putting black mesh in behind as with the airducts, also putting my spilter on from my standard front valance to give it more depth. Only problem is that its a fibreglass jobbie!

Cheers for the coment chap

What do you enjoy most about your car? Im losing faith.

Well basicly after the engine conversion, there's loads of tiny little bits and pieces stopping me from driving it, one thing after a another, Hav'nt driven my car in a week or two now, as far as I conserned it's just a big paper weight using up valued space! So to lift my spirt's I want to hear why...

Part 3 can be left off with no ill effects. The bit in the middle is the support for the centre bearing, and must be intact and in good condition. Have you slackened off the sleeve nut on the sliding part of the prop and set its length correctly? The sleeve nut was slackened yes, how would I know i...

Ive fitted thw 2.5 one... the one at the top of the picture, Huum changed over all the linkages aswell so find it odd that it would be catching.

The rubber donut thing at the very top of the picture I fitted aswell, would that be causing it?

You won't have got them confused as one is shorter than the other! Check that this is happening as your mate may have transfered the balance weight over to the other prop without you realising :D Just to check... Are we talking about the rubber spacer that bolts inbetween the prop and the gearbox l...
