Re: Surely this will change your mind about the E36?
I think if you find a nice clean well looked after e36 you cant go wrong, after years of e30 m3 and a couple of 325 sports, last June I got my first e36 3.0 m3, fitted a schnitzer suspension kit from rossiters and havent looked back. Its fast, smooth, comfy, and not too heavy on fuel, I love it! ver...

Yes it was a good turnout and some nice cars too, the owner couldn't have been nicer, I was full of cake and coffee when I left!. I managed to blow the cobwebs off the 911 on the way home too

Re:
Andyboy, your so right, I've had so many e30's including five m3's since 1990 and still get that feeling when I see one but since getting my e36 m3 as a daily driver I could never go back, it all seems a bit old now, the level of refinement is years ahead, and its so comfy and smooth. The e30 is sti...

I've just swapped a few bits and pieces I had in my garage for a 91 e34 m5 in LHD , jesus what a car! I've not ta...

Back in the day when these cars were made there was different shades of the same colour. I'm sure it was Delphine Grey that had Ten shades ! not much in it but different . I've parked my Diamond Black car next to another at a show and they were very different . Modern paint is far more consistant . ...

Totally agree with Simon , used them for years without a problem ! . I've popped into my local dealer in Kings Lynn for the odd bit only for them to cock it up or tell me they cant get it (most recent was two under dash clips !) quick call to Kirby at C3 and it arrives next day . I'n some cases they...

When I found this fault on an m3 I used a gas detector and put it in the boot , when I drove along it was fine but as soon as I opened a window this caused a flow of gasses through the car and set off the detector . It also did the same with the detector on the back seat . I traced it back to a very...

This problem on e30's is normally caused by the swirl of fumes at the back of the car . If you had your car in a wind tunnel it would be easy to see ! as the car moves the exhaust fumes swirl up around the boot area . When you open a window or sunroof this causes a flow of air out of the car pulling...

The additional fuel was for the fuel in the tank when these cars left the factory , I cant remember how it worked now but I believe the factory charged the dealer and the dealer passed the cost on to the customer in some way . I think I'm right in saying that all build sheets of that period will sho...

One other thing I've noticed is the amount of fake Coopers S's about , I dropped the wife's off at our local BMW dealer for its first service and the service bloke was telling me lots of people fit the S bonnet and other bits as its easy and cheapish to do . So It may have been a standard car . Just...

I have to agree with Tim on this one , My wife has a Black one and I'm sure on the bends My M3 will take it but on the open road it feels pretty quick !
