I would be tempted by the BTB2 (or whichever), depending on lead time.

Theres an "advanced driving qualification" in Jersey. Think it requires lessons and a test. May still do it but there wont be much point. Just good to say you have an advanced driving license in the island. May slightly affect my insurance! Shouldn't be hard considering I'm the best driver in the w...

It does sound a bit like you need to check for air leaks between the AFM and the throttle body. Mr friends car ran like that and it turned out the pipe between the idle control valve and the manifold had partly come off.

I have an ITG Maxogen sealed kit on mine and it works very well. Most noticable in the top end. I refitted the OEM just for comparison and it was definately less lively with the OEM. Of course the Maxogen is a proper sealed system so there's none to little hot air being drawn in from the engine bay...

Re: HID kit fitted :) Only one side works :(
I had a similar problem with mine. I found that when I ignited the lights only one side worked. If I left them on for 10 seconds, switched off and straight back on the non functioning light would fire. I swapped the ballast around and the non functioning light followed the ballast wherever it was in...

I bought the ITG filter from Sal a while ago and was very pleased with the results, especially top end. To make sure I wasn't imagining things I refitted the original airbox a couple of month in for comparison purposes and the performance was noticeably reduced. A few months ago I bought a new main ...

I've been getting a wet floor (clear rainwater, no coolant by the look of it) and just checked the little elephant trunk thing (can't help but feel that's got a more technical name....) and it was blocked from top to bottom with 17 years worth of silt! Maybe that's got something to do with it.....

Alpine have their new & flashy IDA-X001 Digital Media Receiver. There's no CD player built in (but you can add an autochanger if you want). I had a Mongoose for a short while, the only thing worse than the fit and finish was the attitude of the manufacturer. Re: air filter need help
We're talking about mass production design, development and production costs, where small cost differences over thousands of units make a big difference. The standard air box is no doubt very good, otherwise they wouldn't have fitted it, but it's no basis to assume they (or someone else) couldn't do...

its not standard it has a 2.7 bottom end and a few other bits but i wanna try and give it abit extra bhp and a nice nosie If the standard airfilter was restrictive, don't you think that BMW would have given it a better one? I think cost may have a factor in that, otherwise the logical progression i...

Don't be tight with tints, it's worth paying the extra, otherwise you end up with nasty purple tint film and more bubbles than an Aero bar. Worth a try is Tint Master in Telford. http://www.stripemaster.co.uk/
