1991 320 SE 4 door with tech 2 kit

The tech 2 kit will be fitted next week and the car resprayed. Here's a couple pictures from before I pranged her when avoiding a bloody dog (the only reason any work is being done at all):

Mark at what is now called "Urban Motors" on Manderson Street off Leith Walk. It's the bodyshop next door to the bingo hall. new shocks and springs - what else?

I'll be swapping my eibach springs and bilstein shocks from the old motor to the new, just wondered if there is anything else worth changing while I'm there. I'll do the rear shock mounts I think. any suggestions appreciated...

cool thanks, I'll give that a go. the keys are sitting on the dash in plain view so I need to do it soon before anyone gets any funny ideas!

might be worth a moderator deleting this post so randoms don't know how to get into our cars?

thanks for the replies. I got the antenna working. it was the red/black cable to the right which needed connected. sounds like the permenant 12v is not connected to the unit it looks like two wires from the head unit are connected to the ignition switch cable, so I can sort that now too. thanks the ...

the thule 591 are the correct mounts m8. I have a set of them. The bars I have are 120cm in length if that helps too.

this happens to me occasionally. when i roll the car forward a few feet, it then starts!! 8O
i have intermitent issues with the immobiliser so i thought it may be related to that..

thanks for the replies folks. i think 60mm might be takin it too far with 14" wheels? just personal pref at the end of the day! 1.25" drop sounds good (been googling for photos) and I just found the e30zone shop... looks like they've got what I need :D i'll post pics of before and after when it's do...

Compadres! I'm hoping to lower my 4 door E30 320i but am not sure by how much. I have original 14" BBS cross spokes so I don't think it would look right if it was lowered too much. I don't have the cash for new wheels right now but would like some 16" Alpina's eventually. The car needs new shockers ...
