Re: Retrofitting- Black Sports Sun Visor Panel
Ah nice one! It seems that with the standard one it fits flush with the head lining and obviously once the visor panel is in there’s about an inch or so difference. So longer screws need to be applied and then once fitted there isn’t enough clearance to use the sun roof crank as it’s set too far bac...

Re: Retrofitting- Black Sports Sun Visor Panel
Thanks guys! I’d sort of figured that out by the time I’d offered it up.
How about the manual sunroof winder?
It seems to need a deeper inset plastic surround fixture and possibly a longer turning mechanism?

Retrofitting- Black Sports Sun Visor Panel
Does anyone have experience of retro-fitting a black sport sun visor panel? I’ve just recently fitted a black leather sports interior and the black sports visor panel completes the trim. The A pillar covers seem to be a slightly different shape to accommodate the panel than the standard ones and the...

Re:
I think if it's something I've done myself I'll obviously take great pride in the level of work gone into the car. If it does go ahead it will only be done using BMW parts. I already own a tech 1 steering wheel and black leather sports interior and in comparison to a 4 spoke and a grey/indigo comfor...

Re: To modify using stock parts or leave as is?
Thanks for the reply! It's a 1988. I believe it was the first generation of the facelift which ran the M10 in some of the lower spec models until the end of 88. That's a fair point I never considered that, although the only issue with the interior is the fact that it's indigo/charcoal which I'm not ...

Re: carburetor problem
I had similar reliability issues with my Pierburg 2BE and swapped it out for a Weber 32-34 DMTL with a manual choke. Also fitted a K&N air-filter and it runs a pulls a hell of a lot better now! ;)

To modify using stock parts or leave as is?
Hey, I'm looking for some advice on what to do with my e30. I've owned an immaculate lachssilber 316 auto for around a year now with really low mileage and a comprehensive service history. The car is a super clean example and appears to have been dry stored for it's existence as it is entirely rust ...
