Re: Sams' small restoration............

Sorry about bringing this back from the dead, but what a fantastic example of how to modify an M3. I bet this would eat a few of those big power cossies out there.
What brake did servo did you end up using as the ESS inlet manifold looks to be a different size to the normal S54 one.

Hi Shaz, ive got a mono wiper conversion on my car, i got it from Storm wipers on ebay. I was impressed by the quality of the kit but it was pain in the arse to fit, we had to modify the linkage so that it gave enough travel with out the mechanism hitting itself. I also had problems the with wiper a...

Hi, from what i know Hartge wheels were either made by Ronal or O.Z depending on size. My 16 inch set are made by Ronal but my 17 inch split rim set are made by O.Z, they also made the 15 inch wheels as well.

Hi, i had the same problem with my 325i convertible, my dad changed the oil filter relief valve but the leak remained, it turned out the leak was from the oil pressure switch so it might worth changing both of these. The valve is about six quid from the dealers and the switch is about 9 quid from GS...

I think you need to go the dealers to get a key for the door lock, its some sort of magnetic key that goes in there. Its probably best to bin it anyway and get an aftermarket alarm as the factory one seem quite easy to bypass.

Does rolling the arch damage it in any way? because the guy who is going to respray my car said once the arch is rolled, kinks will appear in the arch and it'll start rusting after a few months even after a respray.

Also does anyone in Birmingham, who can roll my arches for me?

Part Numbers for M-tech2 kit fitting kit.

Hi, does anyone happen to know what the part numbers are for the fitting kit to fit a M-tech 2 kit to a cab? I know the clips for the cab sideskirts are different to the 2 door because of the sills. I've tried the online etk but the part numbers on it are for the 2 door. Can anyone help?

Thanks.
