Window switches I looked at and all the wire near the switch looked okay, so other than trying to chase them through to the door I guess theres not a lot I can do?

Will lever out the switch tomorrow though and get back to you! What's the posibilities then? Im thinking window motor it...

Electrical gremlins!

Any ideas on the following? * Keeps blowing window motor fuses (30A). Previous owner did tell me but its not until I found his pile of spent fuses (about 20  ) I realised how bad the problem is LOL! He had an auto electrician check it all and apparantly the wiring is fine, he ended up putting i...

Re: which diff?

Putting the 3.91 in will give you slightly better top end and slightly improved economy at the loss of some acceleration.

Personally i would keep the 4.10 in there!

Re: What diff would you guys recommend?

you could be right! i do appreciate all the input lads, very much appreciated! the exhaust on there atm doesnt help things as its unbearable @ 70mph due to the noise, which in turn makes it fell like its revving at about 7 grand! Once i get that quietned down (thursday) ill be able to see if a 3.45 ...

Re: What diff would you guys recommend?

Cheers Stuart, I've got 215/40/16 on there atm, I worked it like:

3.91 (diff) x 1.00 (5th gear ratio) x 336) x 70 / 19.6 (wheel diameter?) and got a slightly high calc!

I'm doing around 4.1-3rpm @ 70mph in 5th checked this morning!

Re: What diff would you guys recommend?

From my workings a 3.45 diff will give me 552rpm lower than my current 3.91 @ 70mph
A 3.25 would give 792rpm lower so i think a 3.45 just wont be good enough :(

yeah sorry i meant a custom setup, either by Powerflow or longlife.

I too have heard bad things about powerflow, but having said that i now have one and have had no problems!

Its more down to the franchise than the company in general from what i can see!

Re: What diff would you guys recommend?

Is there a calculation to work out what revs i would be pulling @ say 70mph with different ratios?

Say 3.91 = 4k @ 70mph, can i work out what a 3.45 would pull, and also a 3.25 ? 8O
