Cheers guys, all sorted. Luckily it was just a split hose from the pump to the hard line, an easy fix.

Cheers for the replies. Can I more or less rule out a leaking tank as it only leaks under pressure, plus it's only about 1/4 full and the fuel seems to be coming from near the top. Re the hoses easily accessible? In all my years of ownership I've never really been near this area.

Just for comparison, a few years ago I bought a complete new tailgate with glass for about £700!

To narrow the search, all clusters are the same, it's the code plug that differs.

I've been counting down the years until my car becomes tax/MOT exempt but then discovered that as my '89 car is an import it was officially first registered in 2016. I probably won't live to see it become historic. Gutted.

That's how it looks to me too.

I've been doing this for every MOT since I moved to the UK, it was never a problem in Europe.

Where here any differences to a UK spec' car?

I'm sure they're very capable cars but they just look so dull.

One of the bulbs in my check control panel has died, can someone tell me the name of these things for a replacement?

I don't ever use my AC for this reason. I can't say I've ever struggled to climb a hill but the power loss is noticeable. That coupled with the overly raised idle just makes it a pain. I guess it's fairly primitive technology.

The second pic could be the connector for an OBC 'gong' , the first may be for the airco' idle control, but not sure on either! Definitely nothing to do with headlight leveling system.

I'm a fan of the last method, undo everything including subframe and suspension and then raise the car.
