Which wheels...?

Hi All. I'm after buying some nice fat deep-dish alloys for my 325i sport. Just after some opinions as to which ones look best and as to where i can buy some from. Some pictures would be great also if anyone has any available.

All the best,
Chris

i'd suggest this also... take the filler strip out and get a sucker or kitchen sink plunger and gently pull out the top corner of the windscreen. It shouldn't crack unless you have a few good size stone chips on it.

I too have a whine consistent with road speed... i have had the diff oil changed and it is still the same, so i might look at getting the prop bearing changed ! never thought of that one. Are they difficult / expensive to change ?

Re: tinted windows???

Mate, do you hear us saying your cars look crap un-tinted ? NO. I tinted the back windows on my E34 to keep the heat/sun out, not because I want it to look good, infact I think it looks shite, but I dont care about the car, its just a workhorse. If I wanted to do it tastefully id get some rear blin...

Mate, do you hear us saying your cars look crap un-tinted ? NO. as it was said, everyone has their own tastes and opinions. Most of my customers have their cars tinted for sun protection for their kids, or to keep the things they are carrying in the back out of sight, so it's not always because some...

Re: Vinyl

I always spray a fine mist of water where the sticker / vinyl will be applied, and then you can get all the air bubbles out with a plastic card... if you choose to do it this way, use a heat gun to GENTLY heat the sticker on before removing the application layer.

Re: tinted windows???

I would recommend around a 20% film on the rear 3 (allows 20% of light through) - so this would be classed as a dark smoke. On the rear doors i would recommend a 35% tint, and then keep your fronts the standard factory green tint, or if you want to try your luck with the law, go for a 70% tint on to...

Front wings rubbing

Has anyone had any problems with wheels catching on the front wings ? on my 1989 325i i have 17" alpina reps with 205/40/17 tyres. The car has had a 60/40 spax kit fitted. It occasionally catches the lip on the front wings when turning and hitting a slight bump at the same time. I am putting two new...

You will definately need a pro to do the rear screen tint. The sides are quite simple. If you like you can call me on 07974 022 779 and i will talk you through it. Bit long winded to do on here.

I had a few bad leaks recently. The one in my boot was down to the drivers side rear inner arch, and a leaking heated rear window. I also had water in my footwells. Passenger side front was due to the jacking point, and drivers side rear was due to the drainage plate in the floorpan behind the drive...
