Hi Thanks, the lower control arm bushes that are called lollipops by some. Is that what your referring too. they are attached via rubber to the rear end of the control arm. mine are not new, but didn,t have any play , i could not move the control arm by hand. but i think i need a better look. thank...

Front bottom wishbone bush wear can give all sorts of weirdness in steering - are they new/relatively new?

IIRC a LHD Talbot Samba manual rack is the way to go if you want a quick rack that is non powered.

Of course the chances of finding one of those is ...... (cue rusty E30 joke)

Radiator, expansion tank, hoses, waterpump, crank sensors, cam cover seal, coil packs, suspension bushes and shocks, rear brake pipes, all rubber hoses, rear parking sensors, sticky brake calipers.

Usual stuff really

If you need tracking doing check rear wishbone (lollipop) bushes as any appreciable wear in them will nullify any tracking attempts.
