hello, sorry for not being specific earlier, it puts out about 0.65 CO
and it must be below 0.5 CO to pass the mot.
anyways, what could it be? could it be the icv? the cat?
lambda is 1
checked for vacums, but couldn't find any.
could it be the fuel filter? haven't checked that.
any ideas?
thanks!

if it stalls just when cold, it might be something related to the temp sensor. this happened to me once. the wire conections were loose from the temp sensor. had to hold the throttle, or it would stall. after it warmed up, there were no probs. i had the L-jetronic system, temp sensors are diffrent o...

the isuzu 2.8 TD engine - anybody knows about it?
hi all,
i'm wondering if anyone can help with a bit of advice regardin this type of engine. '1996 2.8TD isuzu
is this by chance the interference type? with the valves entering the piston chamber?
it's not about the e30, but if someone is a mechanic, and heard about it.
thanks!

you can remove the abs relay, and plug it back in for the MOT. but it is indeed very usefull, for snowy roads or slippery surface, as i found out after i fixed mine. anyways, my ABS didn't save me now, a drunk driver smashed me from the side, totaly wrecking my e30 beyond repair. regarding how the c...

is yours a L-jetronic? my m20b20 was doing that until i adjusted the aditional air slide valve it, has a screw with a head for a broad flat screwdriver, just tweak it.(motronic ones have ICVs), after it stabilises you can further adjust the idle from a screw at the accelerator assembly. also the tim...

about the pressure, if you don't have a cold start injector, make a T connection on the fuel feed line, before it connects to the injector rail, and connect a pressure gauge. if the pump isn't starting up like u said then there is a strange electrical problem, more like brian moore stuff :P but if y...

here's a late answer :P like the guys above said, it depends on what you need. but i'll tell you some facts that can't be disputed :P kidding the 6 cyl ones are smoother, they are the best balanced ones, and more quiet, but have a higher fuel consumption round the city, or when the engine is cold, n...

fuel pressure regulator - 2.5 or 3.0
hello all, i've seen that there is a variation out there, between the 2.5 and 3.0 bar FPS depending on the capacity of the engine or, even at the same capacity, varying on wether it is a catalyst version or not. i just seen a post here on the forum, and checked the specs, and checked mine, a m20b20 ...
