I just bought a complete hartge system for my e30 and i'm wondering how to fit the center part. On my current center, a scorpion one theres a bracket welded to it for the rubber ring, but not on the hartge? Hope i wont have to weld a bracket on it :( nevermind i found the answer in this thread http:...

Hello, i'm about to fit a skimmed head with a shrick 272 cam in it. Theres been skimmed about 1mm or so.
So my question is do i fit the head with a thicker head gasket or can i compensate with a vernier pulley?

Yes not everyday you get the top off i believe, i got a new totally renovated head with a shrick 272 cam. Can't wait to get it in.

You can do it with the exhaust on - I unscrewed the filter and with a bucket under it passed it between the manifold and the end of the part that attaches to the filter (which has the oil cooler feeds off of it). Spilt a little oil into the bucket but easier than removing the manifold by a long sho...

Just wondering, i was about to change the oil and forgot that the BTB manifold was kinda in the way of the oil filter.

Do i really have to take it off to change the filter or is there any tricks to get around this?

Well done on the job, the smallest crack in some of them hoses can really mess the idle.

Great steering wheel, got one in the car myself. Not many of those around.

Mine was a black '89 316 carb with 310 something on the clock which i paid like Ã‚£1k for, but it was great fun.
Now i own my late '87 325i which i broken down to pieces and rebuild twice or summat.

Lovely pics, the car looks very nice and clean, keep it like that, and the
borbets with some edge always looks nice on a e30.

Ok i just have to save up for it i guess, looks and sounds like its worth it.
