Re: main dealer......SUCH GREAT SERVICE!!!
I've been in the trade for 15 years and to be honest I've seen the decline of the motor mechanic take a steep dive in the last few years. To qualify you have to go to collage once a week and sit in front of a computer and answer multiple choice question and hey presto you are now a fully fledged mech...

Mine has a new clutch , fluid and slave cylinder and also expensive fully synthetic oil and it has made bugger all difference , I think its just the oil being too thick when cold so I am going to try the ATF oil route next.

i would stick with the 2,7 option so when you open the bonnet it all looks standard ,and of course you can deny that the motor has been tweaked when you waste standard 2,5s

Re: Removel of Front Seats?
might want to get under the car with some WD as the rear bolts for the seat and the seat belt runner go through the floor ,what i did was turned the bolts one turn and then gave it a good spray from the top to allow it to run down the threads .came back after a beer and they came out a treat

Re: E46 M3 Power output lies!
perhaps the rolling road place lied so that they could make it look like they improved the power drastically or something like that? I knew a guy that dyno'ed bikes and all he used to do was mess about with the air temp/pressure correction factor on the first run so it looked like the bike was down...

a bit of both really, was wondering if maybe an M3 clutch or 325i would be considered an upgrade(its a323i) but not sure if it will fit, there will also be a capacity increase soon so i have to take that into consideration
