That's annoying.
Looking good though.

Re: Rear Light Gremlins
So I checked out the wiring bundle under the seat pan in the LH corner and it all looks in order. I should add, it only happens when driving. If I switch all light variations with engine off / IGN on its seems to work fine. Can that help diagnose? What should I be looking for / testing in that light...

Intake Manifold looks like the later type M44.

Re: Brake cooling duct backing plates
Pretty sure he means these. 1 either side of the car in the front of the wheel wells. They have cut outs for the brake cooling ducts to slot into. The NSF / Passenger side duct should have a provision for an ambient temp sensor for the OBC. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E30-LH-Brake-Cooling-Duct-Whe...

Re:
I guess.
I thought they were replaceable but they're sealed in. Cue cutting and bodge gluing etc.
A mail-in repair service would be great.

Re:
Mate you could have bought a new fog lamp for that.
Thanks for the reply but I think a replacement is better than the aggro of a repair.

Fog Lamp Lenses - Replaceable?
Hi all.
I have 2 sets of fog lamps with.
1 with cracked lenses and the other set with damaged casings.
Can I put the good lenses on the good casings?
Or are damaged lenses repairable / replaceable?
Cheers.

Rear Light Gremlins
Hi all. Weird one. Mr left rear brake light doesn't work - bulb is okay. When I press the pedal, the rear fog light lamp on the instrument cluster illuminates very faintly...??? Also, my instrument cluster backlight (speedo and tacho) is generally very faint despite knob on full and bulbs seemingly ...

Paint Matching
Hi all. Question about matching paint on older cars really. Its fair to say nobody can match paint perfectly and when replacing panels the entire side of the affected area should be painted. But are some bodyshops better than others in terms of getting a match? Do they use electronic measuring or ju...
