S50 B30 in the 325i. Tragedies and transplants.
Ok so recently me and my dad had a horrible accident taking his E36 M3 on a run out for the first time this year.. the car was a true Sunday car, a red convertible that never saw the rain. It had only done 90k and it was mint. Unfortunately we got cut up on exiting the motorway and forced towards th...

TA Technix 6 branch exhaust mani? Opinions other suggestions
So i've been looking at squeezing a bit more out of my engine (M20b25) i'm not unrealistic, i'm not looking for stupid unrealistic figures i know that costs silly money. Now btb manifolds seem pricey and rare but hottuning offer a TA Technix 6 branch stainless €242 which is suspiciously cheap... ....

2.8 The daily that wants more.
So I've been driving my car for about a year and a half. I love it. Its a 1989 325i SE. So far its body has been restored and painted, fixed a few age related niggles, put some Ronal LS wheels on it with some Bridgestone Potenza rubber and now im currently fitting Koni shocks with H&R sport springs....

Re: Fast road suspension choices
So from what i've read the b8s were always the number one choice.. but nobody ever has a bad word to say about the konis always wondered why people always went with B8s over konis for with H&R. So i'm beginning to think koni with H&R sport are a the combination i want and that way i get some level a...

Re: Fast road suspension choices
Ive heard that Bilstien make the H&R shocks, not sure what they're equivalent to in term of B8 and B4 though not sure what springs rates they are either to be honest.
and i've already decided what anti roll bars to get but its the shock and springs that have me stuck haha

Tyres Opinions options?
So i'm getting some ronal LS wheels soon wondering what rubber to put on them. The tyres are for road use daily driving but occasional track days, so i don't want cheap and cheerful but i don't really want to pay more than £100 per wheel. so would a good premium tyre hold up to what i want and need ...

Re: 325i SE Dolphin grey - Rolling project
Kieran some days i wake up liking bottle tops and sometimes i think they're just too small, shame they weren't a 15 or wider. Took allot of negotiating to get the car off Ryan don't think he wanted to let it go. so just grabbed some of the photos off my camera for a "work so far" the engine bay way ...
