Not sure about the history for the subframe repair but I would look at a 2004 on car that has the bodywork warranty. It could come in handy as it seems a few of these are going a bit rusty round the edges.

I think the running service was important to keep the original warranty, but know most cars are out of warranty I dont think its that big an issue.

Hi, Just got one of these and love it. I got a 2004 cab. I came from a 2005 Evo 8 so was a bit worried that it was going to seem a bit dull compared but for everyday use for me its a much better car. The inspection 2 service is the big one and I have just had to have it done @£850 but I did get quot...

Thanks for the replies. I dont like the 1 series so it would be an 2006/2007 335 or an 2005/6 E46 M3. I like the convertible 335 as it has the hardtop its cheaper to insure and supposed to be good on fuel but its not an M3. I think I need to drive both and make up my mind, but just wondered if there...

Looking at getting one of these and just wondered if anyone has any experience of them. They have come down a bit now and I have seen a couple of 335i coupes within budget I know the diesels are supposed to be good but its the petrol one I am more interested in. Also is the Idrive a deal breaker? Th...

When I bought it the drivers door had a big rusty hole in it and it had what looked like paint stripper marks on the drivers side wing. I bought it in need of some tlc but it was a very solid car.
I spent a fortune on it and then sold it to my mate.
Did you buy the car from Cardiff?

Thanks, When I did the Hpi check it showed that it has been on the same plate since it was first registered in this country. The car has a production date of 10/1997 and it was registered here 03/1998. The car will have a fresh mot so not too worried about that.

What about the early M3, non Evo? I wanted to go for as new as possible, that was my reason for going for the 328 rather than the M3 in the first place, but if its going to cause me trouble I would rather go for the M3.

Would it be easy to shift all the bits if he does decide to break it himself?
When you say 1500-2000 for the engine does that price inc gearbox loom diff etc.
Thanks, Andrew
