Thanks pal.
I don’t actually have FB anymore - gave up on it a few years ago as it seemed to be full of adverts and very very strange posts!

Still searching for Dad’s 325i (D36 URX)
Hello All I came onto this forum about 8 years ago in search of my Dad’s 1986 BMW 325i which was my very first memory of a car and probably what started my obsession with BMW. I wasnt able to locate it in 2015 bar a sighting by somebody on a Facebook group of it up in Scotland on the east coast. I c...

Yellow tint headlights
What is the deal with those yellow tint headlights some e30s have?
Were they a factory fitted option? If not, what inspired them? Where did they come from?
I'm an all original junkie but if BMW had anything to do with them, I might be inclined to purchase a pair for my 325i more door.
Cheers
Nik

Re: 1 series warning light question
I had a DSC warning light come up on my dash 3 days into owning a 130i. I thought it would just be a sensor so took it BMW to be diagnosed. £150 later - I was presented with a £2000 bill as it was determined the DSC unit had failed, a common fault with one series. I ended up getting a reconditioned ...

Would anyone like to part with their 4 door chromie?
Gents I have been searching for a pre face lift more door 325i since December 2014. I check eBay pretty much everyday along with piston heads, car and classic and gumtree. The one I found back in Feb I missed out on and now I've not seen one since then and its July. Where else should I be looking? D...

1988 320i exhaust Q
I have an April 1988 320i SE. Q: I've got a single pipe back box. I was under the impression that all 6 cylinder E30's came with twin pipe back boxes. Am I wrong? I see in the car service history that the back box was replaced by BMW a few years ago. The car is also INCREDIBLY quiet. I can barely he...

BMW 325ix Fuel tank
Hello!
Can any kind person tell me whether a regular E30 fuel tank will fit my 1986 325IX LHD?
I know they are totally different from the windscreen onwards but I am hoping they at least share the same fuel tank?
Mine has a nasty hole and BMW want £690 for an OEM replacement...
Many thanks
Nick

Searching for this car: BMW 325 (Reg: D36 URX)
Hello, I am currently searching for a 1986 BMW 325i, registration D36 URX. My Dad was its first owner! The DVLA website tells me this car is still on the road and a quick Google search has revealed it was sold recently in the Aberdeenshire area. It looks like it has been well looked after which lead...
