Re: bss325i

The last two pm's I sent you I didn't get a reply. So why would I send another threatening bad feedback ? After not hearing from you I concluded you weren't bothered and I'd be wasting my time. If I had sold something and it turned out that a part was missing I would of sorted the matter ASAP. You w...

Re: bss325i

Bought m3 suspension and brakes for £1500 in Febuary. Waited 3 weeks for delivery. Then noticed a rear caliper was missing. I e mailed on 30th March and after a few emails he now ignores my email. Thanks Barry, if you find the caliper please stick it up your arse.

Put car on a co meter, twidle the adjuster see if it makes a differance to the co readings. Or borrow another known working one to see if it drives any better.
Thats all i can think of

Re: Re-drilling Wheels

I also do not like these adapters as the overlap is definitely a suspect area. The better way to change to 5x120 using adapters is to have the hubs redrilled to 5x100 and then use 5x100-5x120 adapters. 5 to 5 stud adapters can also be made thinner than the 4 to 5 stud ones due to not having to deal...

Re: Help? Fitting Fire Extinguisher in Cabby

Get your head in the footwell and look under the seat. There's only one way it'll go on. It's not something that needs guidance really.
Don't forget your torch. If you are struggling then unbolt the seat and tip it back for better access.

The correct one bolts to the under side of the front seat at the front. 2 or 3 m6 bolts.
Do you have the correct cradle ?

Ok cheers guys. If I was going to fit the full e30 m3 running gear I have I would have just dropped the lot but as I'm now not fitting it I only want to replace the beam bushes as their hanging out. Cheers fellas

If I take the whole beam off the brake lines and hand brake cables will need removing, and the prop. Can you tell I don't want to do this job ?

Re: rear subframe bush removal tips.

Hi, thanks for the info. I haven't got the special tool. I was going to use hole cutters to get it out. I think I'll undo both sides and just lower enough to remove them.

rear subframe bush removal tips.

Hi guys, I'm going to change my rear beam bushings and I have read the wiki and its unclear. Do I undo both sides at once and if I do won't I need a jack under it all to stop it dropping on my head. Any other tips would be great. After all these years this is a job I've never done.
Cheers, Andy

Re: E30 M3 Suspension swap track width

I think track width is the same. It's marginally wider because of the slightly bigger offset of the m3 wheels. 24mm to 27mm so 3mm a side wider track when the wheels are fitted.

Re: E30 5 Stud the over complicated wrong'un way.

Well done , thats a lot of work put into that. I have a far simpler solution to 5 stud.
Have the hubs re drilled and tapped for 5x100 pcd. Then bolt on 5x100 to 5x120 spacers. You then have e36/46 offset. And you can still use 4x100 or 5x100 pcd. Proper spacers from h+r or eibach are tuv approved.
