Thank you Mr-Lachs! It's now back with us and rot-free which is always a bonus. One of the rear wheel bearings failed badly during towing so that was replaced and the rotted parts were all completely cut out and replaced. Really pleased with how well it's come out. Here's the front corner which was ...

Red46 skid plates 10% off for January

Hi all, Anyone running even slightly lowered will be all too familiar with sump damage. The sump hangs right in the firing line and has to be protected to avoid damage that can lead to engine failure or at the very least, a nasty mess. I am the sole UK seller for Red46 Sump Armor. These guys are E30...

Another update - things are starting to come along quite nicely now. The front wheel bearings are on (obviously not nutted up in this pic). We're now just waiting on a steering linkage from Ergen to get the steering finished up. https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/hphotos-xpf1/t51.2885-15/s640x640/sh0...

Finally had some time to do more on this. The front struts were stripped, cut and welded with CAtuned coilovers now fitted. Love these coilovers so much, nice quality bits of kit. They're also used on our S54 E36. https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/hphotos-xft1/t51.2885-15/s640x640/sh0.08/e35/1222461...

Hi all, I'm pleased to announce that I am now the UK dealer for Condor Speed Shop products! Hi Mike,

Excellent stuff. I'm just checking on the sump guard for you, I'd imagine you are correct. Will get back to you as soon as I hear from Red46.

Ordering through the site is easiest :)

Cheers,

More progress on the Touring - unfortunately it's something I only get to work on in my spare time as it isn't kept at Hack Engineering HQ, and things are very busy! However, the rear beam has now been dropped and mostly disassembled. http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/xx192/BenKoflach/E30%20V8/IMG_...

CAtuned Heavy Duty Chromoly Driveshafts - pre-order

Hi all, As you may know I'm the UK stockist of CAtuned components, and for some time I've been working on getting a bunch of their Heavy Duty Chromoly Driveshafts over. These are built by them, in the USA, using a practically indestructible 4340 Chromoly shaft and high quality end assemblies. They a...

Had a bit of time this weekend to press on with the E30. The car had 4x100-5x120 Adaptec converters with it so I thought we might as well try them on for size, along with a set of E36 fit Style32s. They no longer fit my E36 due to the brakes on it, and I need something that will (hopefully) clear th...

Hack Engineering '92 316i Touring (M62 one day)

Hello all, I've part-owned this E30 for a number of years and, due to a slight rearrangement of ownership, it is now a joint project between myself and Soap Grenade Detailing, based just down the road from me. It's a bog standard E30 316i Touring, 109k on the clock, and no service history. It's been...

Re: Revshift 24v E30 engine swap mounts

My car is LHD so should I follow the markings? Why are they sided differently LHD/RHD? I thought the engine and transmission mounts are independent. You're good then - transmission mounts are the same side to side, but the engine mounts are sided and marked with 'drivers side' and 'passenger side' ...

Hi, Can you add me to the list. Will take a full set with transmission mounts. Need to ask how big the difference is between OEM feel and street/track sitffness for a S50 converted e30. Also do you offer mounts for an e46 diesel (2004 320TD)? Best adil I'd say it depends on what you use your car fo...
