Re: Looking for cars for online magazine
the battle thing is stupid. There was an e30 race car that said LOOSER which had a fully built motor and heap of other performance goodies.
winner was a stock E36 318 with a podfilter and exhaust as a mod..
stupid.

This way the overlapping joint where the cut out section is will be sealed prior to welding. Ive also placed my new patch in the firewall for the harness gromet, applied liberal amounts...

Upol Gravitex HS - set at 60PSI
Looks near on identical to the OE finish at that pressure, 80psi was too flat. however OE seems to have some sort of rubberised undercoating, This is more of a bitumen base. Either way very happy with the outcome of it.

strip the lamps down, put in oven at 150 degrees for 5 minutes.. Carefully lift the glass off the housing. Dont pry with force if it doesnt budge, otherwise you will crack the glass. if the glass is still stuck down then you will need more heat. You can use a small flat head to get the lifting start...

I'm amazed on how much rust is in that red e30. Is there a lot of salt on your roads or something? Never seen suspension components rust like that here in Australia

It will have more to do with the polisher, grade of pad and skill level with the machine than the polish itself.
ive got a rupes bigfoot 21 and you could use the shittest polish and still get a mirror.
