Re: Convertible roof
I would assume that if you wanted to get the roof recovered then it would be a good idea to disconnect anything to do with the electric side of things and once the roof has be recovered then connect it up yourself. Depending on where you are based I know someone who had his roof redone at C E Moore ...

Carhood.com do replacement roofs, I don't think the manual frame is the same as the the electric one, Gerts the man to speak to about this though as he had his electric one redone but had a few issues.

Re: Parasitic battery drain
I used one of these to see what circuit was draining the most power then worked my way back along the loom/circuit. Bought another one that I can attach to my Fluke Meter as its worth its weight in gold. https://www.rapidonline.com/Sealey-TA120-Current-Tester-20A-Standard-Fuse-89-0528?IncVat=1&pdg=k...

Re: T Charge Checker Interesting Results
I live within the congestion zone so get a residents 90% discount. Reality is, those who drive within the zone during the charging periods are going to pay regardless. Simply a money making scheme. I used to live in Kensington when the Zone was extended and if I had a day off I had to pay for the w...

This was thought out before the vote, most Governments run a pyramid scheme as I could not live in a perpetual debt cycle.
Hopefully all the smug gits that knock London can start paying their way.

Re: T Charge Checker Interesting Results
Don't knock London lots of interesting stuff to do unless you want to drive during rush hour  Anyways, by 2020 they want to bring in Clean Air Zones and to get the owners of diesel cars to pay a "pollution fee" (TAX) in Leeds, Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham, London and Southampton. Proposed citi...

My 89 Chromie will get charged but who the hell wants to drive in to London and pay, but my 2003 import Subaru is exempt. Will be worse when the bring in the ultra low emissions zone, north south circuit then the M25 in the future, I think wood burners owned by the middle classes are polluting Londo...

Re: Bumper blastic wierd stains?
If its not your fault shouldn't the other persons insurance be paying for the repairs? That's right, But the thieves that work at the insurance company only gave me an X amount (which was almost enough for all of it). they do that because hypothetically if you were to sell your crashed car, you wou...

28 is the Cig lighter usually spliced for other stuff, I have one of these that I used to test the circuits and found out it was the alarm that was draining the battery over a period of a few days, removed alarm all is fine. https://www.amazon.co.uk/AUTOMOTIVE-CURRENT-TESTER-AVAILABLE-DISPLAY/dp/B00...
