E28 Rad for my 3.5 conversion
Afternoon all, I have managed to get my hands on a Hartge 3.5 engine and Hartge ECU to drop in my cab. Looking for the necessary E28 535 manual rad but can only find Nissens repro's. Looking for a Hella or Behr orginal part, anyone have any ideas? Contacts/websites or even better anyone have one? Be...

All sorted. After much arming/disarming and shouting she started. I disconnected then reconnected the battery which seemed to reset it. Thanks for the help, the roof is now down albeit a little chilly. :O) N

Re:
This is rather embarrassing but a somewhat honest introduction to e30 Zone. My car currently won't start in the middle of Central London! Hilarious I know. It's doing everything other than start, when I de-immobilise it and try to turn the key it's just not turning over. Similar to when you try and ...

Re:
Being a vert performance certainly isn't my main goal but I have been looking at the possibility of a BTB manifold. I certainly won't be purchasing any of the cheap bits you see advertised on eBay as I'm fully aware it's not worth while. I'm located in East London and would like a full service and a...

Re: e30 325i Cabriolet modifications
Thanks for the tips, have an LSD fitted but a rebuild sounds like a good option. Any idea of cost or a rough idea? I'll touch base with Gareth. I was thinking of a drilled disc conversion, any recommendations or experience of a good choice? Also how do I upload photos to a topic?

e30 325i Cabriolet modifications
Evening all, I was looking for some friendly advice on what route is best to take so sensitively modify my e30 cab. Currently it has a full exhaust system apart from the six-branch manifold which I would like to add, any suggestions on which brands to look at would be appreciated. I know B2B are the...

Thanks a lot, I'll give that a go!!Brianmoooore wrote:Steering shaft is hollow, with a bung at the bottom. If this bung falls out, it allows the shaft to conduct a strange noise into the cabin.
Standard cure is a blob of blu tack into the top of the shaft.

Re: Noisy on acceleration
Yes it sounds as if it is coming from the steering column area. It's a RHD 325 Cab. No recent major work but had a full service around 500 miles ago.. CheersBrianmoooore wrote:Sure it's not coming from the steering wheel area? LH or RH drive? Any recent work on the car?

Noisy on acceleration
Evening all,
just recently I have noticed an almost 'guzzling' noise coming from behind the speedo when applying throttle on my 325i auto. Performance seems the same but it's certainly a new 'noise' any ideas or has anyone come across something similar?
