I stand under correction, but i believe it does.Whic box do you have? Switchable or non Switchable?
Have you checked your Gearbox's oil level? This is a serviceable part, it could just need some fresh oil.

Re: Best performance upgrades for a 316i?
Just my 2 cents, not much you can do with the 316i in terms of power. If i were you i would look at suspension mods and weight saving to get a little more out of the car, then maybe an exhaust and some nice 15 inch rims. Then enjoy the car for what it is.

Re: BMW BAURS How many are there?
I have a baur e30. In south africa it was the only option when it came to a convertible.
Our cars where not built by Baur though, they were imported as knock down kits and built at the BMW factory. So is my car considered a Baur??

Re: ask about ET 20 and 25
Hi, yes the offset (et20 or et25) denotes how far out the wheel sits from the hub. The e30 generally needs a lower et. So if i were you i would take the 15x7J et25 set of wheels. Higher offsets are usually meant for front wheel drive cars, you will see VW’s with et35 15 inch wheels etc. The other re...

I had a quick look and i see only 2 fans, the one above ( in the pic) turns as soon as i switch on the car, and the other fan i can see is in the front of the car , which switchs on when i put on the aircon.

Whats this plug for?
Hi I was having a look at my cars engine, and noticed that there is a brass looking plug on the drivers side of the radiator with three wires plugged in. The plastic plug is very brittle. Depends on who and how they did the re-drilling. i have seen some professional work where the centre was welded up and then re drilled, and then i saw the type where they just re-drilled without welding.
