Much respect to you all. All that’s been said above is so true. Within the rules of the zone many of those crooks wouldn’t last a month on here cos they would be exposed.

Re: Problems with Bavarian Retro Cars

Don't let me even start - he ruined my car and I'm now counting the costs- he's awful- people in USA are looking for him- scammed loads out of money - stay well clear. If he's any sort of person he would be here to defend his name and honour- that won't happen- he's now moved on to scamming 7 series...

Re: 325i E30 - fuel in engine oil!!

Most of the above, especially the coolant temp. sensor, checked at the ECU plug. There's only minor, easily resolved, problem using the later wiring loom, etc., on an early engine. What problem did you encounter? the round plug- is shorter at the connection point from visual checks. My temp switch ...

Wonder if anyone can advise! I have fuel in my engine oil - when you open oil cap strong smell of fuel - and the exhaust fumes smell very rich - on top of this I have slight stumbling hesitatation when revving up. I stupidly bought a manifold with injectors and loom - only to find out I have the ear...

How do I check the resistance? And why would it cut out whilst turning?

1988 325i misfire

Evening all

I'm experiencing a slight misfire when car is cold from start- the car holds back a bit then when warm drives fine - but it cut out today as I was turning!

Lucky I was somewhere safe. Any thoughts on the cause? Many thanks
