I suppose you could cut the ends off ans ali weld it back together. I would use an adapter.

Does this open the boot by breaking the plastic clip on the actuator arm?

Keys locked in boot
Any Help ? I've just gone and locked my car keys in the boot !, i'd locked the car already on central locking ( deadlocked !!!!) with the key on drivers door and picked something up from the boot and then shut the boot... any ideas on opening it? BTW - I did a search already and understandably they ...

I've read in other posts figures of £6-7k, are people basing this on JUST engine related costs alone or including brakes/ suspension etc as well into this price range?

Have you checked the ECU, sounds like some water may have got into it. Which is quite common.

you need a torch ( ie some real heat!) to burn/ soften up the rubber.
