Does anybody know if any of the getrag internals are interchangeable?

Looking if its possible to build a very close ratio box out of them? Instead of forking out 4,000 for a samsonas dogbox

Just to add. Ive been mailing a company called thinkauto and they are currently designing caps that replace the screw on caps above the filter on a m42 as well as a similar one for a m44. They said it should be ready to sale early this year

What crank, pistons and rods are you using?

Out of interest who is your builder?

Have a look at m42club forum. Some good info on there and quite a few who have built decent m42/m44

I cant comment yet but have a m44 2.1 high comp build being built by a vulcan race engines atm

hi, could anybody point me in the right direction for a reasnably priced engine builder, preferably in the north west, but I go down london way every 4/5 weeks so may consider someone further looking at getting reboring and fitting new pistons and crank balence bottom end larger valves fitted head p...

We have one of the vacuum ones at work, its a snapon we have and its utter shait in kind words, we've never been able to get it to work. but we have a pressure bleeder, one you pump up at the resevoir and thats brilliant! not sure on make though.

E36 325 shafts wont fit. Need to be e30 325 as the compact has the e30 rear end.

Are these genuine bmw parts i take it?

Emm its for a e36 compact that ive converted to medium case diff which have 325 shafts i dont know if this is any help?

Otherwise ill have to find a chassis number from somewhere!

I'm trying to source some new driveshafts, looking for 325 shafts that fit medium case diff.

ive gone down the second hand route once and they were no good so decided to just go for new ones. but I cant seem to find any!

anybody know of anywhere that have some?

HI Just fitted a LSD to my e36 rally car, lsd unit was out of a 325 e30 and a 4.45cwp off ebay, all second hand. Ive fitted new bearings all round and correct grade lsd oil. when under acceleration its fine and under heavy load its fine but once i come off the throttle it whines a bit and an initial...

if its more of a knocking noise rather than banging anti roll bar link road possibly?

have a look underneath and pull on the arb to see if there any play in it

my bad didnt realise this section was for new parts. just saw the post underneath asking for a lsd.

Hi do you have any lsd single ear medium case for sale?

any ratio will do. its for a e36 compact rally car so trying to source a decent low mileage lsd. already have a 4.4cwp to stick in it.
