hey thanks man. Had a flick through there a few times, no one with a pre facelift though. The lower valance is just way too tight to the bumper it seems.

Hello.
Currently building a m50 turbo smooth bay. Build thread is on here.
Struggling to find a intercooler to fit behind a prefacelift bumper. Also struggling with the pipe work.
Can anyone share any advise or pictures of their setups? Regardless of engine etc

I'm running the same intercooler but upside down to how you have it and then removed the inner lights and used kit car lights with side dipped and mains in the outers and then made some fake lights for the inside, will upload a picture tomorrow when I am at work board. yeah i saw a few people doing...

also stripped the engine today. everythings looking real good. stacks up with the mileage of 53k on the clocks. will be completely rebuilt anyway.

Cooling, washer reservoir and possibly hiding the P/S reservoir. I have seen a few motors do this and the bay looks really clean. All motor expansion tank is being deleted, along with the washer reservoir. the pz reservoir will be tucked away somewhere yeah. It should look pretty good! Small update...

about 350 at the wheels. and sorry yeah its from a e30 325 so it'll be a 260. planning to use the m20 flywheel as that seems to be what everyone uses.HairyScreech wrote:Really depends how much power you are making.

ended up buying a finger power belt sander thing and that made a pretty nice job of getting in the space. after various trials with seam sealant i couldn't achieve a finish with the seam sealer that i was happy with. couldnt get it smooth enough. after talking to a few people with smooth engine bay ...

blimey thats alot! the dude who hd it originally told me they were worth loads however the dude who collected the spoiler said something about the handle on the edge being in the wrong place, like too high up or something. so that meant theyre ford seats? but he said someone must have fitted the bmw...

The spoiler sold twice to people who wouldnt pay. Went for about 150 in the end I think. I'm after something to fill the holes it left if you have an suggestions? And also the seats? How much are they worth? I'm after a full houndstooth interior instead. Or whatever it's called ha.

little update. pretty ready for welding and sealant. away with the girlfriend over the weekend, but I've got a bunch of days off next week so hopefully i'll get some good work done. going to order coilovers, and all the other front running gear.
