Re: 1983 garage find, I very nearly broke it for parts
Been a while since I last posted, had an accident with a bottle of argoshield which I left in the boot resulting in more bodywork, had water leaking into the car and then to top it off the second m20 I converted it too decided it didn't enjoy life anymore. This engine obviously has had valve stem oi...

Re: 1983 garage find, I very nearly broke it for parts
How did you get on with the ram raiders insurance? He's still trying to claim but I've signed the release forms from the police so that the insurance can have the witness statements, if the police released me without charge because of those statements I don't see that he's gunna get the claim, or a...

Well it's been to the bodyshop, had a big spruce up. Done a few other bits and the front corners of the floor remade and welded in. Slowly coming together. Just bought a 540i doner so that's next on the list http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad329/hiner69er_2009/Mobile%20Uploads/4BAFCB52-0733-4595-...

Re: Prefacelift loom conversion help urgent please
The wires are in the round C101, but are also in the engine loom where it comes out of the ECU, so the easiest way for you to do it is to cut the small plug from your old loom, with as much wire as possible, then find the wires in the loom near the ECU, cut them, and splice the ends that come from ...

Converting my 83 320 to facelift b25,this is all I have left and then I can hopefully drive it. I've wired up the round plug to the old square plug, that's sorted. however the car has the small white square plug that did go to the engine loom next the ecu. where do I wire that into on the facelift l...

Gained an intermittent Rev limiter
Intermittent Rev limit, around 4K mainly when cold, the limiter has been removed from the rotor arm so can't be that, doesn't bounce like a normal limiter either, any ideas? I'd say it was spark related but it won't do it when I want it too.
