Well it's been to the bodyshop, had a big spruce up. Done a few other bits and the front corners of the floor remade and welded in. Slowly coming together. Need some ideas before I burn the car. Idles slightly lumpy and is down on power, feels very flat, it's had new leads,plugs, cap, arm, icv, tps, I've stripped the afm and cleaned it, gone over in inlet numerous times checked every single pipe and gasket for air leaks. The wires are in the round C101, but are also in the engine loom where it comes out of the ECU, so the easiest way for you to do it is to cut the small plug from your old loom, with as much wire as possible, then find the wires in the loom near the ECU, cut them, and splice the ends that come from ...

Sorry, silly me. 1983 320i, rev limiter already removed from the rotor arm.

Intermittent Rev limit, around 4K mainly when cold, the limiter has been removed from the rotor arm so can't be that, doesn't bounce like a normal limiter either, any ideas? I'd say it was spark related but it won't do it when I want it too.
