I have just been putting petrol in and driving it lately, so not much to report, I recently treated it to a new rear M3 badge. The old ones, particularly the 'M' were starting to look their age. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm16/kwaterhouse/DSC_1263_zpsyxcotnli.jpg There are several guides onl...

I haven't done an update for a while, my 'winter project' this year has been upgrading the front brakes, I had the Wilwood bias pedal box with e46 M3 front brakes described in previous posts. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm16/kwaterhouse/DSC_1234_zpszbt3c7ik.jpg I always felt the brakes could ...

Re: S50 or M60
Thanks Dan :thumb: I don't know anything about pedal boxes, can you match the cylinder sizes to give a decent pedal for a road car? I ran 5/8 wilwood masters on my pedal box with a 6.25 to 1 pedal ratio. I now believe i had a faulty master cylinder on my fronts as i could get 900 to 1500 psi on the...

I dont think there is one soon, are you on facebook ? a lot of the meets are on the e30 zone there.
You could always organise one yourself, personally i wont be bringing mine out till the salt goes though.

Re: Style 65 on E30
my rear suspension is e30 M3, with the 9" et20 wheels and 245 30 17 tyres there is minimal clearance to the m3 flared rear wings. Yes they are quite big. If I get wider body kit what I have orderd and not normal what I got it wouldn't be a problem sinde I would need big spacers. But with this kit I ...

Re: Style 65 on E30
I have bbs style 5 17" et20 on my E30 m3 with e46 M3 325mm front brakes.
I had to grind the calipers a bit to get clearance.
The Brembos are very wide, I would guess you might need a 30mm spacer.

Re: Back in the fold...
This is going to be epic, that F10 M5 I had a little 'traffic light grand prix' with on the way to Gaydon last year is the only car I have come across that put up a decent fight against the V10 M3, losing 3/4 of a ton and using a dct box will be worth the effort

e36 / 46 M3 rear brakes on an e30 M3
Has anyone fitted e46/36 M3 rear brakes to an e30 M3 ?
I believe the handbrake shoes / drum are a different size and I presume an adaptor bracket would be required ?

It depends on the kit, I know the M3 indicators are a different size to a normal e30.

Re: ATP fuel tank and surging
I have an ATP 55L tank in my car, I can't comment on the original e30 pump but I have 2 e60 m5 pumps mounted in the 'swirl pot' inside the tank. I have never suffered fuel starvation but the pumps are mounted as low as possible and will pump the tank almost dry.
