Tried GSF and ECP all they have is 88-92 operating temperatures so I'm assuming that it has to be a certain type to fit an M52?DanThe wrote:BMW ECP GSF etc, pretty much anywhere that sells thermostats

Water leak M52 above gearbox
I have a water leak in my e30, it seems to be coming from above the gearbox, actually leaking right down between bell housing and the engine. What could it be, there is no water on the carpets on the inside though. Is there any hoses up behind the engine and the firewall that I can't see?

What needs to be custom about it? Or is it just fixed position brackets you want? Dan its just fixed position ones I need, the ones that have been fitted put the seat way off to the left, you can see in my other thread. http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=258928&highlight=

Yes it worked!Brianmoooore wrote:Even with the edit it still doesn't make much sense!
First point is that the fan isn't supposed to come on "when it gets up to temperature". It's supposed to come on when the engine begins to overheat, otherwise it'll be wasting power and fuel.
Did it ever work?

Hi Mate, Schmidt modernlines are what you're after - not sure if they are exactly the same as the above, as they might be original revolutions or image wheels. Have a look on edition 38 as some of the vw boys run them or they are available new: http://www.rimstyle.com/alloywheels/wheel/index.html?w...
