Bike carbs on an m40 questions

Hi. Has anyone ever run their m40 on bike carbs?
I understand that new inlet eill have to be fabricated.
I was wondering whats the best bike carbs to go for?
Anything to take into account?

I must admit this has become a problem right about now, to get the van running for the Europe drive it is having an auto box put on, but when I'm back I will be sorting the manual box and gear linkage.

Auto box help.

Hi, I'm doing a automatic conversion, all I want to know is if I need anything else apart from the box (obviously) and torque converter?
