Re: Which Springs Should i choose. Vote.

The Ride Quality is fine, not as harsh and bumpy as you'd expect (like other cars ive driven) with big wheels with low profiles. It is mainly for Road use, i doubt i'll get chance to bring it to a track day especially with my rallying :- www.alexallingham.co.uk I'm tempted just to lower the rear. Wh...

They are 8.5"x 17" and have 225/35 Falkens on them.

Does look high at they back. Hence I could always just fit the rear springs ?

Which Springs Should i choose. Vote.

Look at my car, and tell me, will 30mm Springs look good ? I was thinking of 30mm lowering springs by Apex (Ԛ£96 delivered) Or should i choose others ? I must admit, the car seems to sit low on the front, so i may just fit rear springs, although i thing the front springs are "tired" to say the ...

List Of E30 M3 Owners

Come on, lets make a list of the E30 M3 Owners.

Also has anyone got a Supersprint center section ( with or without center silencer) ?? I see they make a Center Section without the silencer (E.g Straight through)

I'll Start the owners list.

Well, they arent "any old coil" they are all similar coils, similar resistance etc... but still none of them seem to be giving out anything.

Re: Still having problems with my M3

Voltmeter, Terminal on + side of coil reads 12V, and terminal on - Side of coil also reads 12V (with ignition on)
E.g Putting red (+) wire off Voltmeter on the coil wire (which ever side) and the Black wire off the Voltmeter (-) onto a good earth (e.g Strut bolt)

Re: Still having problems with my M3

Sorry Gareth.

Yes, I meant 12V on both Terminals.

Seem to be getting no output on HT Lead tho ?? Like I say, tried 3 different coils, all the same, surely all three cant be knackered. Going to borrow a "known Good" one tomorrow off my friends Golf.

Still having problems with my M3

Right, Changed the Crank Sensor, and the two pulse sensors. But now car wont start at all (as of tonight) No Spark at all. The Coil is seeing 12V in and 12V out, however there seems to be no spark/power coming out of the HT Lead, neither when ignition on, nor when cranked over. The cap and rotor arm...

Is there anyway of testing the CPS before i go and get a new one ? Thr black one is approx Ԛ£20 from Main Stealer, i dont think EURO car parts do one, and the two other sensors (Pulse generators?) are about Ԛ£56 each from Main Stealer. The small black one (1 287 784) I am assuming is the m...

Also, there are three Sensors, all pointing at the flywheel , at the rear of the engine, i take it all three control the timing etc.... E.g Like having three crank position sensors ? There are two at the bottom, both silver and shiny, part no's are both the same on them two :- 1 708 610 and then the...

Well, the prob is, you'll be driving along, and it'll just cut-out/stall. But usually it'll start ok, other times it wont re-start at all. Tryed by-passing the Fuel Relay when it wont start, and it makes no difference. Had a wire on the coil, onto a light into the car, and light doesnt fail to go ou...

Right boys. and girls. Wired up a light to the + of the coil, and it stays on perfectly, then when it dies, it still stays on nice and bright, so that leads me to think it is fuel related. Once it dies, it does start again, but it dies (as if its ran out of fuel) then it'll start and die a few times...
