Fuel gauge problem

Hi,

driving home last night at a steady 60 my fuel gauge went from 1/3 full to below the bottom mark with the fuel warning light on.

After restarting the car, the fuel guage is now back to normal.

Any ideas where I should start looking?

Thanks, :)

Re: Engine swaps? ...confussed

I've just swapped an M20, and did it on my driveway. So, it is doable. I would recommend having a donor car if possible. There were lots of bits (brackets etc) I needed that I didn't know I needed. Yes, and I had them connected the wrong way round.

I swapped them over and it fired up first time.
