Re: M30B35 Cooling Conundrums

Cheers for the input everyone, and apologies for the [very] late reply. I have a hectic job and rarely get time to work on my car at the minute, but I bought a 16" Spal 'pusher' fan and fitted it in replacement of the cheap eBay one. The car got to temperature and just as I thought it was up to its ...

Re: M30B35 Cooling Conundrums

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I'm using the 535i rad with recommended hose set-up. I've not had the thermostat out to check it as such but it seems to open when I'd expect it to by feeling the top hose and return and monitoring dash temp (crude method I know). I've suspected the cheap fan all along...

M30B35 Cooling Conundrums

Hello all, I'm sure cooling questions come up time and time again and after reading dozens of threads online and spending countless hours tinkering I've not been able to solve this as yet - though I have my suspicions that I'd like some feedback on please. To set the scene it idles and drives fine. ...

Re: Wheels wheels wheels (pics included)

Hiya mate, Thanks for the reply! (Manic week- didn't get time to check for a response...) I saw a lovely 325i at a show on Sunday which was running 15" BBS with the correct 205/55/15 tyres and this is definitely the route I'll go down now. I do think my wheels look more like 14s in the picture too w...

Wheels wheels wheels (pics included)

Hello all. After months of scouring the Internet looking for a set of wheels I've finally purchased a set that meet my criteria; that is having some dish, not being ridiculously over-sized, complimenting the E30 design and not being cheap Taiwanese replicas. With these points in mind I picked up the...

Re: Where to buy brake bleeder screws / valves?

I should have added that I've tried several local motor factors (inc. EuroCarParts, UniParts) and specialist hydraulics centre and eBay - all with no luck...

Where to buy brake bleeder screws / valves?

As per subject, I'm hoping somebody can advise me accordingly on this. I'm currently in the process of renovating trailing arms and callipers for a rear disc conversion but the bleed screws on both sides are totally seized. I've tried plenty of WD40, heat, taps with the hammer etc etc but no luck. I...

Coilovers and Springs - Compatability with Disc Conversion

Hello all, I'm hoping somebody can help me here... I'm currently in the process of converting the rear drums on my 320i to discs using salvaged 325i parts. Whilst I'm doing the swap I was hoping to to change the shocks to Bilstein B4 items and change the springs; possibly to those of the Eibach vari...

Headlights after stereo install?

Hi all, Hoping somebody can point me in the right direction with this. Recently installed a new Pioneer head unit in my 1990 320i SE. Unfortunately the old standard HU had been replaced with an aftermarket Sony XPLOD tape deck and this had to go. Anyway, this happened to be 'hard-wired' into the loo...
