I don't think there isn't much better than Pagid BLUE for mostly road and occasional track use.

Well as I was the seller I am trying hard to solve this. There are a few points which won't help in this case. - I never had the engine running with this ECU - the sale is over two years ago, there is a lot which could have happened. Just to make this clear, I have FULL faith in maynee007, I don't b...

Re: M3 Disc / Pad combo?
if you use an M3 with standard disks (whatever make) on track, add COOLING. And not just the holes in the bumper and wheel arch. Ideally you go to the centre of the disk. Especially when you use uprated pads with a higher operating temperature! And buy Castrol SRF brake fluid. Yes, it's expensive bu...

What works for one driver doesn't mean it works for all drivers IMHO. Driving styles is a big part of suspension setup. Somebody who is a hard late braker will prefer a different setting compared to the fast at apex driver etc.

in my opinion it's not worth the effort. Could you please explain why? And what the issues are? I know an M42 drops straight in, but I don't have an M42. I do however have access to a complete M44 if I want to drive and pick it up. If the only issue is wiring, is it similar to the wiring issues of ...

Back in my bike racing days I have witnessed a side car racer kidnapping a spectator because he was without a co-driver. The E36 crossmember does bolt up but the engine is so far back the bulkhead/trans tunnel needs major surgery The E36 subframe has the engine mount tabs on the opposite site compared to an E30 subframe. Bolts up, but engine position is not suitable. As mentioned before, you need to cut a large hole ...

Not as elegant as the mounts Uwe has as they have no provisions for belt anchors, but it might be another solution if you don't know anyone who can laser cut. I wouldn't advise anybody to mount the belt anchors to the side mounts. I deleted the holes in the later versions. I had the belts mounted t...

Re: Fitting a bucket seat?
The difference between a steel side mount and a alli mount is 600gramm = 1.2kg total (if mounts are identical design/shape)
Don't know the weight of a fibreglass seat.
If you need to weld some steel bars as shown on the cars floor to fit the Alli mounts, your weight will be equal.

Had the same problem and drew some mounts up in CAD and had them made. Fitted directly to the E30 OEM floor points. Hi Matt, off the top of my head I cant rember the length and rate of the springs I have used. The thing that I can remember is you have to be real careful about the length of the finished coil over. The helper spring is VERY soft and is only there to keep the spring located between the spring perches.
Only the main spring is doing the work.
