Re: S50B32 guys can you check something please?
I have put some new videos into my original post. Also I can't see anything twisted or misaligned with the chassis so not suspecting anything like that for now. I measured very carefully on my car....Just for comparison purpose too for any other people running the same engine. The Front of the throt...

S50B30/S50B32 guys can you check something please?
Hi Guys. Just wondering if you guys with S50B32's could check something out for me. I am using a 3.0l ZF Gearbox behind my motor and for some reason it sits on an angle, either that or the motor is not aligned. Here are some Videos I got, I don't know what my issue is, whether the motor is sitting t...

Ladies and Gentleman. I give you Fritz Bitz exhaust manifold, this is how thin the metal of the headers were where the cracks are. Almost every cylinder had cracks in it. http://s12.postimg.org/xayjp2219/a5da12e8_56dd_48c5_8cc3_b48aba50a69c.jpg This is how the ports looked like http://s16.postimg.or...

Re: Problems with exhaust manifold seller
I did demand a refund, but Rich (Fritz) said that the warranty lies with the manufacturer (who Fritz subcontracts his work to) and not himself, even though the money went directly into Fritz account and all communication before the sale was with Fritz and nobody else. So after further talks, they to...

Guys, what I'm saying is for any substantial money - the results I have gotten are fairly poor. Both Fritz and BTB prices while do differ somewhat are still a substantial amount of money and comparing how a BTB manifold looks to the Fritz one I'm looking at right now, is day and night difference - t...

Re: Problems with exhaust manifold seller
Hi. Well after 3 attempts to manufacture an exhaust manifold, the end result is poor and tacky looking, especially for a £750 Manifold from Fritz Bitz. I would have been totally fine of these results for a fraction of the price, but not for 750 big ones and also customs fee's I paid whenever I recie...

I'd like to not name anyone for the moment if it's not going to help. Here is how most of the ports look at the moment, manifolds still with supplier waiting to be sent. Given the workmanship issues I've had before, I really do not know what to expect in terms of quality and longevity aswell. As for...

Re: Problems with exhaust manifold seller
It wasn't off here directly as in a for sale ad, but was recommended/mentioned on here. It's for a S50B32 to an E30 conversion. At first the ports were very bad, so I sent it back and they port matched it, but it came back with cracks/gaps in the pipes on every single cylinder, in which they respond...

Problems with Fritz Bitz exhuast manifolds
Hi Guys. This has been a long time coming, but I'm at crossroads on what to do. I had an exhaust manifold made for an engine conversion into an E30 by Fritz Bitz. I am overseas and this was made in the UK. It cost about 750GBP and the product quality and workmanship was below average. I had no idea ...

Re: Removing Fusebox for painting engine bay, how to?
Hi Guys.
I gave it a go and it ended up being possible. First I pulled the loose pins/wires through the fusebox hole, then the connectors inside the fusebox. Now I began pulling the entire wiring loom through slowly threading it through. The C101 connector comes out last once everything is out.

Re: Removing Fusebox for painting engine bay, how to?
I guess it looks like it requires for almost half the interior body loom to be pulled through the firewall to do it this way. Removing Fusebox for painting engine bay, how to?
Hi Guys. The situation is, I am moving the wiring out of the way so the engine bay can be painted. Now all the headlight harnesses have been unclipped and they are all lose, so that takes care of the front end. The issue is, I am not sure how to make way for the area under/around the fusebox. First ...

Re: OBC Immobilizer plugs, where to tap into?
I wouldn't think so because it is part of the OBC Loom, not the main E30 dash loom.
Both of those plugs are somehow related as one of the red wires from the bottom one loops to the top plug, and other red wire goes to the OBC horn plug
Anybody have any idea where they connect?

Re: OBC Immobilizer plugs, where to tap into?
OK well I seem to have figured out it is a 2 wire plug that takes the place on a plug that has just a looped wire on it. Now I am left with a few plugs that I am unsure of. These two here (that I originally thought were for immobilizer, are for something else, they seem just to connect to each other...

OBC Immobilizer plugs and other unknown, where to tap into?
Hi. I'm installing an OBC into my E30. I've got the two plugs where one is female and other is male, I believe these are the ones that would tap into some pre-existing connector on the car so they run through the harness. But I cannot find them anywhere, are they near the glovebox, or near the ignit...

Hi. Basically I got a 1990 E30 325i that has a Analog clock, and i want to put an OBC in it. Any info on how to fit the Clio one without cutting the chassis? Re: Which gearbox support/mounts do I need?
Is there any difference in using E30 or E36 M3 linkage?
Arent they the same length?
Because from what i see the UUC DSSR suits E36 and E30, which would mean then E30 and E36 links should be interchangeable?

Which Fuel pump for S50 in E30?
Hi Guys. I've gotten mixed opinions on this, some say the stock E30 pump works fine, but others say it does not produce enough pressure as S50 needs 5 Bars. I have seen a guide on putting a E36 M3 pump into a E30 housing/bracket but it seems to be quite some work, maybe the guide im reading makes it...

Hi Guys. I am wondering what brake booster gives the best clearance and requires least cutting to the airbox to fit. E24 Radiator into E30
Hi.
I am looking to fit a thinner radiator to my E30 325i (Facelift) to get more clearance for fan options with S50 conversion.
I have heard that a E24 radiator can work. What modifications if any need to be done to make this Fit into an E30 Facelift?
Thanks.

Using Getrag 6 Speed - Which driveshaft to suit?
Hi Guys. I'm assuming this would apply to both S50's and M50's, I got an S50 but I'm asking in the M50 thread since I may got some more views, as I assume the engine would sit in the same general area. Manual Gearbox shifts fine when cold, harsh when warm
Hello. Just wondering if somebody could explain this. When the car is cold the gearbox Shifts fine, maybe tad bit harsh at times, but when it warms up it's really bad, you have to shift extremely slow for it to be smooth, otherwise any normal shifting will crunch. Somebody has told me the gearbox co...

Hi. I am having a issue with my brake switch, I even tried a new one and it does the same thing.
