And as if by magic you were correct! but it was not a sticky switch, turns out the front passenger door is missing the block that presses in the hinge, a quick bodge before i do something permanent thus sees the interior lights working as they should along with the sunroof light going out

Another quick question :) My first one is the sun roof control button on the car, is this meant to always be illuminated and working even with no keys in the car? OBC issues?
Quick question really, ive noticed with the OBC that if i set the time and date and drive around it will keep the settings but if i leave the car over night then the next day the settings will be lost, the radio doesnt loose any of the settings its just the OBC

not 100% certain apart from what ive been told and read which is to do with the cold start.....too late now as i removed it which wasnt too bad although it is now raining quite heavily and i was just coming to put in the new one

think that might be the one im looking at although didnt see the brown sensor (will take another look now)
Im assuming theres a small gap to get through for the sensor?

Blue temp sensor location - 316i
Hey guys, probably a silly question but can anyone confirm the location of the blue temp sensor on a 316i?
I thnk its under the air intake pipe on the engine in a slightly awkward small gap (not very technical heh) but just hoping someone can confirm it for me?
