E30 Zone

Been driving around for a few weeks now. Managed to fit the recaros. The main downside as it is getting hotter is that there is not enough airflow over the a/c condencer due to the intercooler. It cools, but when not moving it seems to be in the high teens. Note that it was converted to from r13a to...

The turbo will have a blanket. Furthermore the leads will be going in another direction as I will have wasted spark as coil near plug set up. If it decides to melt the lead. Then cut the flange for the turbo and rotate it towards strut. I guess we will burn that bridge when we get to it.

Cheers, I haven't had much to update on. I had issues with my fpr going bad. Killing the already failing pump. So changed the pump out, just general service items. Also acquired a CD43 BMW Business CD head unit and added that today, meanwhile adding AUX for mp3 and whatnot. Going to go back and flus...

Looka impressive, do you know what kind of power it should be putting out? Also with a hx40, when it should get on boost? I assume you will know more once the clutch is in.

Sounds good, so many small projects. I tend not to touch anything sensative in winter, easy to damage, brittle pastic. Keep us posted on progress.

Not sure how many facilities you have on hand. The lips could be milled down, have the barrels drilled out. Shame to see such nice wheels butchered. I was having a hard time finding yellow fogs. You can find them in my nech of the woods, mostly all shot to pieces. New ones are way to rich for fogs. ...

Understood, I wasn't building a FI motor at the time. Just wanted to say that... I guess the dangerous thing to say. "While you're there" and can do the things you might contemplate later :) You should be fine with a 2.7 eta piston bottom and 885 head. There are always plenty of things to look into ...

Hahahaha, had the headlining retrimmed by a professional. I have no pictuers of that being done. I have 2 pictures of the headlining in the dark greay black foam cloth sitting on a table... I needed 5 hands to put it back in the car but made do with 2 and my head, this was on the spot in the car par...

The oil temp gauge is currently not setup as i could not find an anti-clockwise sweep gauge. So I ended up buying an e36 M3 cluster to remove the gauge/step motor, took it out and added the e30 style needle. Problem is I haven't got around to installing it.
