Morning all. Success last night! We went at the lock with some pliers and many different sizes and shapes of screwdriver and got it open in 30 minutes. Is there enough room to get an old wire coat hanger through??

I had a look but all I saw was steel... maybe if there was a hole just to get hand through to get keys...

also is there any possibility of going through from behind rear seats or is it just a wall of sheet steel?

no angle gringer but I have a hammer... anyone any idea of how much locksmiths cost? Would one be able to help without breaking lock?

So its not going to be easy then but the rear lights sound like a good option, its a pity the car is in a busy car park!

Well said, your absolutely right theres loads and loads of stuff on the web and lots more besides... we all come here though to tap into the E30 knowledge wherever it may come from, be it the web, Bentleys or wherever.

I haven't had a quote, just "quoting" what I have read sorry. I need to replace either the rear window or entire roof urgently but it is very difficult to find anyone who will do it out here in Turin in Italy, there are very few E30 cabs around!

I had a similar problem after heavy rain a week ago. Wet behind passenger seat (my car is LHD) and a very worrying sloshing shound!!! So would I, I need my rear window replaced but I have heard quotes of around Ãƒ”šÃ‚£150 to Ãƒ”šÃ‚£200 so not sure wether to buy whole new roof or not as better value for money.

I drive my car about with the light permanently on it seems! Difference between in town and motorway driving to fuel consuption is about 40% at times in my 320 cab.

My 320 '88 cab has 57,000 kms, had only 45,000km's when I bought it a year ago!

Anyone have any advice on what to look out for problems wise with the LPG system as never driven a car with it before.

I was up in Cervinia last year in the snow, not the best weather for a cabrio and it's fun with RWD! 1 metre of snow over night and I could barely see the car in the morning. It's good with the cabrio in Italy but it's impossible finding parts, only see 5 or so other e30 cabs in over 1 year in Turin!

Ok I got you, no Bentleys just a Haynes but there are only a few bolts so can't be that difficult and once its fitted will just be a case of ironing out all the wee niggles and potential leaking points.
