WELL THAT WAS MY INITIAL THOUGHT BUT IF THAT WAS TRUE IT WOULD RUN LUMPY ALSO IT RAN PERFECT IN THE DONOR AS I DID 200 MILES IN IT SO HOW WOULD IT GO FROM BEING FINE TO THEN SHAGGED, BECAUSE IT WOULDNT BLOW OUT? BEING SWAPPED FROM ONE CAR TO THE OTHER? ALSO IT HADNT GOT UP TO TEMP SO THE THERMOSTAT ...

Re: best doner car for e30 swap ?
I am doing the exact same, i went for a e34 525i as they come with a zf310 which is alot stronger gearbox than the getrag im lead to believe. they already have the correct sump on, correct throttle cable, only thing i have had to buy is a prop and engine arms. With regards to power 500bhp can be ac...

Re: Hydraulic handbrake size
ha i have been thinking 600mm is bait too big, but it would be floor mounted?
basically it goes inline where your fronts connect to your back, pulling the handbrake forces the fluid to the rears only giving instant lock and unlike the normal handbrake there is no cable to stretch

Hello everyone, im getting a hydraulic handbrake tonight and i have a choice between a 600mm lever and a 280mm so my options are: 1. get 280mm and mount on top of tunnel 2. get 600mm and mount on top of tunnel (have more leverage but will be quite big) 3. get 600mm and mount on passenger side of tun...

Re: starter/ fuel pump not working??
I see the E30 was an auto. Have you disabled the starter inhibitor (gear selector has to be in N or P)? If not, remove the access panel above the glovebox, find two single plug and socket near the top right, both having a black/yellow and a black wire going to them, unplug both of them, discard the...

Re: starter/ fuel pump not working??
1/ No idea what the first part means, but no, the pump shouldn't run when the engine is not running. 2/ You heard correct. Pump only works when the ECU sees pulses from the crank position sensor. 3/ Pin 15 is for the mirrors, heater fan, windows and sunroof. Nothing to do with the running of the en...

Pin 18 on the E30 loom, not 17 to pin 18 on the M50 loom. Black/yellow wire, and if your car has ever started, I'm sure it's there. Just rechecked the diagram armed with your info, it appears there is a typo on it, i have also looked at several other diagrams which also said 18 goes to 18, cheers f...

E36 m3 hubs non m3 brakes
Weird request, I'm building abit of a drift car, looking at doing a 5 stud swap for 2 reasons, more lock and half decent cheap coilovers, I want to run 16s and have read its hard to find 16s that will fit over m3 brakes, so my question is can I fit 328 brakes to m3 spindles/hubs? Cheers for any help...
